In Memoriam

In memory of my beloved and devoted husband, William Howard Randolph, a divinity
student in his sophomore college year in Virginia Theological Seminary and
College, Lynchburg, VA, who departed this life the tenth day of August, nineteen
hundred and twenty-eight.

A devout Christian, a faithful and dutiful husband, and ambitious and hard
working student and a true and loyal friend.  To me these traits are sacred, and
I shall always cherish them.

Sleep on dear Howard and take thy rest, until we all shall wake in glory, for
“Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth;  yea, saith the
spirit, that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them.”
