Mr. Rasberry was born in Norfolk and had retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and Progressive Lodge 80, Prince Hall Masons. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the widower of Bernadine A. Rasberry. He is survived by three nieces, including Estelle Lee of Norfolk, and three nephews, including George B. Rasberry of Portsmouth. The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in First United Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Otis J. Wynn. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Riddick Funeral Service. Friends may join the family at the residence.
