Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 12, 1930

RAWLS - At the residence of her nephew, L.M. Thomas, Jr., 912 Franklin avenue, 
South Norfolk, Thursday night, January 9, 1930, at 8:10 o'clock, MRS. MARY 
THOMAS ALLIGOOD RAWLS, a native of Washington, N.C., a daughter of the late 
George and Mrs. Fannie Alligood, and wife of the late Joseph J. Rawls, aged 76 
years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence SATURDAY AFTERNOON, 
January 11, at 3 o'clock.  Friends invited.  Burial will be in the family lot 
in Magnolia Cemetery.
