Virginian Pilot May 1, 1989 
Chesapeake-Hulda Taylor Rawls, 74, of the 3000 block of Parkside Drive, died 
April 30, 1989 in a hospital.

Mrs. Rawls, a native of Martin County, N.C., was a member of New Temple Grove 
Church in Chesapeake.

Survivors include her husband, William Jerry Rawls; two daughters, Lizzie 
Harrison of Chesapeake and Barbara Nobles of Virginia Beach; three sons Vernon 
Rawls of Arlington, Va., William Rawls of Portsmouth and Ray Rawls of Virginia 
Beach; a sister Elizabeth Mobley of Everetts, N.C., 11 grandchildren and 10 
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Graham Funeral Home, 
South Norfolk Chapel by the Rev. Johnny A McDonald. Burial will be in Forest 
Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral 
home and all other times at 3328 Lusk St., Virginia Beach.
