Virginian-Pilot May 29, 1897
The funeral of Mrs. Mary Ray, wife of Mr. James Ray, took place yesterday morning 
at 11 o’clock from the residence, No. 211 Church street, and was conducted by Rev. 
Father Doherty, of St. Mary’s Catholic church. The interment was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
