Virginian-Pilot August 2, 1966
NORFOLK — Mrs. Julia Mason Ray, 79, the wife of John P. Ray and a daughter of 
Walter H. and Mrs. Anna Schimp Mason, died in a hospital Monday at 5 p.m.
A native of Mount Holly, NJ., she lived here 35 years. She was a member of Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Dr. John P. Ray Jr., Lubbock, Tex.
A funeral service will be conducted in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Thursday at 10 
a.m.
The rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
