Rayfield, 52, husband of Mrs. Mary Rayfield, and son of the late Thomas E. and Mrs. Frances Jemison Rayfield, died yesterday at 8:05 a.m., at the residence, 533 West 48th Street. Mr. Rayfield, an electrician employed at the Naval Base, was a native of Alabama, and had been a resident of Norfolk for 30 years. He was a veteran of World War II, and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Milton E. Rayfield, Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Strickland, of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Angel Wilson, of Atlanta, Mrs. Neoma Rayfield Bemis, of El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Lena Ferderer, of Albuquerque, N.M. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
