Mr. Reavis was born in Warren County, N.C., and was the manager of the Azalea House of Antiques. He had retired from the U.S. Naval Supply Center and was the former owner of Big Ben's Clock Shop. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Mr. Reavis was a member of Corinthian Masonic Lodge 266 and the National Watch & Clock Collectors Association. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy P. Reavis; two daughters, Mary Rell of Brookfield, Conn., and Carol Bahringer of Charlotte; two sons, Benjamin H. Reavis of Jacksonville, Fla., and Hugh D. Glisson of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Jessie Ganger of Henderson, N.C.; five brothers, George Reavis of Raleigh, Woodrow W. Reavis of Rocky Mount, N.C., Charles G. Reavis of Endicott, N.Y., and James L. Reavis and Edgar Reavis, both of Henderson; and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk chapel, by Dr. W. Emmett M. Diggs. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
