The funeral will take place from the above residence TOMORROW (Monday) AFTERNOON, November 1st, at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. *************************************************************************** The funeral of Alexander Redd was held from his late residence, 433 Queen Street, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. T.J. Taylor of the Queen Street Methodist Church and Rev. S.L. Smith of Emanuel Episcopal Church. The deceased was the son of Wiley Redd, of Deans Station, Va. He is survived by a widow and four children, Mrs. Alonzo Burke, Alexander Redd Jr., Miss Irene Redd and Bernard Redd; three brothers, Walter Redd of Norfolk, Genie Redd of Suffolk and Leroy Redd of Valdez, Alaska and a sister, Mrs. E.K. Raby of Dean's, Va. Pallbearers: Citizens J.P. Shellhouse, W.H. Smith. Elks, J.F. Lawler, A.A. O'Brien. Odd Fellows, J.A. Hugo. Owls, W.R. Brown. Red Men, Charles F. Kegebein.
