Waymon Redd - Funeral services for Waymon Redd, who died on July 27 at a local 
hospital after a long illness, were held last Thursday from the First Baptist 
Church with the Rev. J. C. Diamond officiating. Clayton Miller and Homer Jones 
sang and condolences were read by J. O. Sumler and Mrs. Mamie Linnett. He is 
survived by his widow, Mrs. Erma Redd; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zack Redd Sr.; a 
sister, Mrs. Theresa Shaw; and three brothers, Zack Jr., Eugene, and Robert Redd. 
Interment was made in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge.
