Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 10,1962
George Washington Reed of 1337 Albany avenue was given a funeral service last 
week at St. Stephen Church of Christ.

A native of South Carolina, he was a member of Progressive Lodge, St. Joseph 
Consistory and Queen Esther Order of Eastern Star.

He was buried in Calvary Cemetery under direction of E. A. Hughes Funeral Home.

Surviving him is his wife, Mrs. Pearl Reed.
