Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 15, 1931

George B. Reed, aged 63, died yesterday afternoon at 12:45 o'clock at the 
residence, 810 Beale Street. He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk 
and was formerly engaged in the milk business. He is survived by one sister, 
Mrs. Katherine C. Utz, of Norfolk. 
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason Street, to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services Monday morning at 
10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

REED, GEORGE B. - At the residence, No. 810 Beale street, Saturday, November 
14th, 1931, at 12:45 o’clock p.m., GEORGE B., son of the late David and Louisa 
Copeland Reed, in the 64th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments. Nos. 610-612 
Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, for services MONDAY MORNING at 
10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment. St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
