Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Saturday February 16, 1935
Mrs. Erika Louisa Reed, aged 56, widow of Ander Albin Reed, died at her residence, 
1337 West Fortieth street, yesterday morning at 1 o'clock, after an illness of one 
month. A daughter of the late Karl and Mrs. Metilda Carlson, she was a native of 
Finland and had made her home here for the past 21 years. She is survived by a 
daughter, Alice Reed, and three sons, Edmund, Alfred and William Reed, all of 
Norfolk.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, 
South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Sunday 
afternoon. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
