Norfolk - A funeral service for Milton Reed of 1060 Godfrey avenue, retired from
the Ajax Tile Co. for five years, was held Wednesday in Hale Funeral Chapel. 
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Reed, a Norfolk native, died April 8 in a local hospital.  He was the
husband of Mrs. Edith Reed and a son of Lewis Reed and Mrs. Ida Reed.

He is survived by three sons, Milton Reed Jr. of New York, Lewis Reed of Mt.
Pleasant, Tenn., and William Reed of Norfolk;  a daughter, Mrs. Edith Garrett of
Virginia Beach;  two stepdaughters, Mrs. Alice Martin of Norfolk and Mrs. Ruth
Frederick of Chesapeake;  and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Thomas of Norfolk.
