The Norfolk Virginian, March 06, 1896

The remains of Mrs. Josephine Davis Reed, formerly of Norfolk, arrived from 
Baltimore yesterday morning via the Bay Line and was interred in Elmwood. Rev. 
Dr. B.D. Tucker, of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, officiating at the grave. The 
body was accompanied here by her son and daughter, Mr. Durant Reed and Miss 
Josephine Reed, who are at the residence of Mr. J.A. Elliott, for a day or two.
