Virginian Pilot March 5, 1963

Mrs. Ruby Mercer Reese, of 740 Redgate Ave., widow of Harry E. Reese and daughter 
of the late Charles C. and Mrs. Adelia Swank Mercer, died Monday at 3:15 a.m. in a 
hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of First Presbyterian Church. 
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles R. Hudgins of Norfolk; two nephews, D.W. 
Duncan of Wilmington, Del and J.G. Duncan of Hertford N.C.
A funeral service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Wednesday at 2 
p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
