Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, January 3, 2000 
Antonio Carlos Reeves, 35, known as ``Tony'' or ``Green Eyes,'' of the 4000
block of Sherman Oaks, died Dec. 27, 1999, in Portsmouth.

Born in San Francisco, Calif., he was a truck driver with Mid-Atlantic Utilities
and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He had a high school diploma. Mr. Reeves
was a child of God.

Survivors include his wife, Michele R. Reeves; two daughters, Krystal Renee
McLean and Jasmine Nicole Jean Jackson; two sons, Ramel Onrie McGowen and
Christopher Tate; his father, Raymond Nixon; two sisters, Phyllis Washington and
Robin Johnson; six brothers, Spencer and Anthony Reeves, Michael and Lonnie
Monroe, Darrel Mixon and Alvin Washington; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be at noon Tuesday in Bethany Baptist Church, 2587 Campostella
Road, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Jack Manley. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery
, Norfolk. The family will receive friends for remembrance and visitation at
P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
