Virginian-Pilot January 6, 1970
VIRGINIA BEACH - Charles Rehpelz Sr., 65, of 3139 Shore Drive, owner of 
Charlie’s Seafood Restaurant 24 years, died in his home Monday.
He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Ellen Deegan Rehpelz and a son of Jacob and Mrs. 
Margueritte Rehpelz.
A native of Brooklyn, he lived here since 1946. He was a member the Star of the 
Sea Catholic Church.
Surviving, besides his widow, is a sister, Mrs. Carolyn Baum of Maple, N.C.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and that contributions be made to 
the Emphysema Fund.
