Mrs. Rehpelz, a native of New York City, retired in 1983. She and her husband opened the Shore Drive restaurant in 1946. The restaurant is still owned by their family. She was a former bookkeeper with Gimbel's Department Store in New York. She was the widow of Charles A. Rehpelz Sr. and a Roman Catholic. She was a member of Ocean Park Women's Club, Virginia Restaurant Association, Virginia Beach Restaurant Association, Better Business Bureau and the Auxiliary of DePaul Medical Center. Survivors include a sister, Agnes Meincke of Islip, N.Y.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Star of the Sea Catholic Church by the Rev. Edward L. Richardson and the Rev. James E. Dorson. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary's Infant Home or to Little Sisters of the Poor.
