Norfolk - Funeral services for Curtis Melvin Reid, who died Monday, July 30, at 
his home, 917 Calvert street, following a brief illness, were held at Goodwill 
Baptist Church, August 5, with the Rev. W. H. Evans, pastor, officiating. Miss 
Frances Jones rendered a solo.

Surviving the deceased are his wife, Mrs. Curtis Reid; a mother, Mrs. Lucy Reid; 
one sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Weeks; two brothers and other relatives.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
