The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 16, 1931 
Mrs. Anna C. Dozier Reid, widow of D.P. Reid, aged 71 years, died at the 
residence of her son, G. Osborne Reid, in Princess Anne County, yesterday 
morning at 12:50 o'clock. Besides her son, Mrs. Reid is survived by one 
daughter, Mrs. T.L. Overman, of Elizabeth City, N.C., and another son, D.P 
Reid, Jr., of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. from the funeral 
home of James V. Derry, 345 West Princess Anne road. The Rev. W. G. Gum, pastor 
of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
