Norfolk - The funeral of Mrs. Cora Hurdle Reid of 739 Bank street, was held at
First Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. R. H. Bowling, officiating.

She was the daughter of the late London and Frances Hurdle. She was a native of
Norfolk. Pallbearers were: Alfred Night, of Philadelphia PA; W. G. Hurdle, Sr,
Frederick Hurdle, E. London Hurdle, John L. Manley.

Out-of-town persons present at the funeral were: E. V. Hurdle,Newport News; Dr.
and Mrs. Leslie Fowlks, Newport News; Mrs. Sarah Smith, Miss Grace Hurdle; The
Rev. L. C. Hurdle; all of Newark NJ.

Mrs. Reid died Dec. 24 and her funeral was held Dec. 28 at 3 p.m. Burial was in
Calvary Cemetery with the B. F. King Funeral Home in charge.
