Funeral services for Arnetta Priscilla Reid, 11, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James
Reid, were held Thursday, August 27, at the First Baptist Church, Taylorsville,
with Rev. Mr. Roberts officiating. Miss Reid died on August 23 at 7:30 p.m. at a
local hospital.

Besides her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Muriel Brown, Miss
Margaret C. Reid, of New York City, and Miss Aurelia Reid; eight brothers,
Willie Reid of Norfolk, James M. of Boston, MA, Pfc. Isaiah Reid, U. S. Army in
Japan, A2c George II, stationed in Africa, John J., Daniel L., Charles M., and
Thomas A. Reid, all of Portsmouth, and other relatives.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk VA.
