Jerry Reid died at Norfolk General Hospital after a short illness.

Final rites were held at Riddick’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. D. 
Pernell officiating.  Riddick’s Funeral Service was in charge.  Arrangements 
were made by Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Pernell.

He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Frances Cherry.

Burial was in Paige Cemetery, Berkley, VA
