Norfolk - A funeral service for Mrs. Irene Reid was  held in the Hale Funeral 
Chapel with the Rev. J. L. Kearney conducting recently.

Mrs. Reid, who resided at 855 E. Princess Anne road, died at home after a short 
illness.

She was the widow of Floyd Reid and a daughter of the late Allie Gordon and Mrs. 
Annie Ash.

She is survived by a son, Bennie McCain of Brooklyn and a brother, Charlie Ash 
of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
