She was the sister of the late Charles F. Reilly, a former managing editor, and the late Thomas J. Reilly, a former political writer, of The Ledger-Star newspaper. Miss Reilly had retired in 1973 from a civil service position with the Marine Corps and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She had attended local schools and also had held a position with the Merchant and Miners Steamship Co. For many years she was a volunteer worker with the Little Theatre in Norfolk. An avid traveler, she made numerous trips to Europe, South America and the Caribbean. Survivors include a sister, Mary B. Reilly of Norfolk; two brothers, William Reilly of Darien, Conn., and Bernard Reilly of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; and nieces and nephews. A joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Nee. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk. The family will be at 1049 S. Lexan Crescent, Norfolk.
