She was the daughter of Edward Phillips Godwin and Mary Hussey Godwin. Margaret attended Longwood College and Old Dominion University. She taught for 30 years in the Norfolk Public School system, 25 of those years as a first grade teacher at Granby Elementary School. A longtime member of Ghent United Methodist Church, she attended Second Presbyterian Church during her later years in Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Gordon Reinhard and one sister, Mary Lingamfelter. Survivors include one son, William Gordon Reinhard Jr. and his wife Patricia Bragg of Bluffton, S.C.; two grandchildren, Ann R. Kelley and husband Tim of Cincinnati and Robert G. Reinhard and wife Julie of Lisle, Ill; also five great-grandchildren, Justin, Amanda and Victoria Kelley and Andrew and Simon Reinhard. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The Rev. Kerry Westerwick of the Second Presbyterian Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507. H.D.
