She was the daughter of the late Luther Rice and Miss Alice Anne Seal Reins, a native of Richmond, and a resident of Baltimore for many years prior to retirement about a year ago on account of ill health. She was a member of Baltimore Woman’s Civic League, American Library Association and Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to her sister, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was well- known in Norfolk and had many relatives here. The body will arrive in Norfolk tomorrow morning and will be taken to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro., 631 Westover Avenue, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock. The Rev. Sparks W. Melton, pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery.
