Virginian-Pilot January 19, 1925
Katie Cardoza Relihan died at her residence, 1118 West Brambleton avenue, 
yesterday afternoon at 1:45 o’clock. She had been ill for several weeks. She was 
the wife of Sergt. John L. Relihan, of the Norfolk Police Department. Besides her 
husband, she is survived by a brother, Walter P. Cardoza; five sisters, Mrs. C. M. 
Kate, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. C. A. Duncan, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. G. N. Morgan, 
Mrs. S. B. Halbert and Mrs. J. R. Hutchins, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will 
be conducted tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery.
