Maurice Relihan died at 8 a.m. today at the home of his son-in-law, B. C. Tatem, 
618 West 37th street, after a long period of failing health, aged 74 years. He was 
a native of Ireland, had lived in Norfolk for 40 years and was very highly 
esteemed, having a host of friends, He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. M. 
Murphy, Mrs. Mary Hoy and Mrs. B. C. Tatem, and two sons, Maurice D. and John L. 
Relihan, all of Norfolk. The funeral occurs on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the above 
residence, Rev. T. E. Waters of Sacred Heart Catholic church, officiating. 
Interment in St. Mary’s cemetery.
