Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark May 18, 1916

Mrs. Domenica Resta, wife of Galcinto Resta, aged 51 years, died yesterday at 9:30 
a.m. at her home, 302 Chapel Street. A native of Italy she had lived in Norfolk 
more than three years and was greatly esteemed. The funeral will take place at St. 
Mary's Catholic Church Friday at 10 a.m. and will be conducted by Rev. P.P. 
Brennan. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, three 
daughters, Miss Annie Resta, Mrs. F. Loporto and Mrs. M. Spinelli, all of Norfolk 
and six sons, Joseph, Francis and Alfred Resta, all of Norfolk; Louis Resta, of 
Panama; Rocco Resta, of Texas and Vito Resta, of Bridgeport, Conn.
