Virginian-Pilot September 27, 1986
NORFOLK – W. Grant Revell Sr., 76, of the 1400 block of Woodrow Ave., died Sept. 
26, 1986, in his home.
Mr. Revell, a native of Portsmouth, was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church.
Survivors include his wife, Antoinette Console Revell; two daughters, Mary A. 
Alberti of New Jersey, and Margaret R. Edwards of Norfolk; a son, W. Grant 
Revell Jr. of Richmond; a sister, Margaret Grillo of Portsmouth; two brothers, 
Frederick Revell of Portsmouth and Vincent Revell of Coral Gables, Fla.; and 
nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
by the Rev. Vincent Connery. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A wake 
service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Infant Home Auxiliary or the 
American Cancer Society.
