Virginian Pilot March 8, 1995

Arthur Q. Rhodes of the 800 block of E. Princess Anne Road, died March 5, 1995.
Mr. Rhodes was born in Norfolk and was a member of Holy Jerusalem COGIC.
Survivors include a daughter, Shalonda Bates; his mother, Sarah R. Rhodes; 
father, Willie J. Rhodes; three sisters, Tonya Rhodes, Theresa M. Rhodes and Eva 
Rhodes; a brother, Jerry Rhodes; six nieces; one nephew; two special friends, 
Rhonda Williams and Calvin Overton; and fiancee, Yolanda Bates.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Holy Jerusalem COGIC by the Rev. 
Queenie Barton. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is 
handling arrangements.
