Norfolk Virginian March 18, 1875

On Wednesday morning, March 17th, at forty-five minutes past 2 o'clock, Mrs. SARAH 
A., beloved wife of Capt. Jesse M. Rhodes.
Friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend her funeral from the 
Freemason Street Baptist Church THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 4 o'clock.
A loving wife, an affectionate mother, a good neighbor and a devoted Christian has 
passed away to her reward in heaven
