Marion, NC - Funeral services for the Rev. Wyatt Meade Rhuffin, who died July 
27, were held July 31 at Metropolitan AME Zion Church, Norfolk, VA, with Rev. 
Mr. Carter officiating. Interment was made in Calvary Cemetery.

Rev. Mr. Rhuffin was born in Courtland, Southampton County, VA, and had pastored 
for 40 years throughout the AME Zion connection. For a time he served as a 
presiding elder. Following his graduation from Temple University, he dedicated 
himself to a life of Christian usefulness.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie Rhuffin; two sisters, a brother, 
nephew, and four nieces.
