Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 22,1958
William Rhyne, 847 Avenue A died Feb. 11 in a local hospital after a long 
illness.  He was the son of the late William and Mrs. Carfinnie Rhyne and the 
husband of the late Mrs. Laura Rhyne.  He was born in Jamesville, NC.

He is survived by one sister, Miss Eva Paling;  one aunt, Mrs. Maggie Braddall;  
one brother, John H. Rhyne, Philadelphia;  one uncle, Willie Spruill, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 9 at Graves Chapel.  Rev. L. E. Willis 
officiated.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in 
charge.
