Ribble, relict of the late Joseph Ribble, died Thursday at her residence in Norfolk County, adjoining the city limits, after a long and tedious illness. Her death was not unexpected, and her dying bed was surrounded by her relatives, who had been summoned some days before. She was a lady of many excellent qualities, and her death will be mourned by many to whom she had been an unostentatious but generous friend. Her funeral took place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10 o’clock this morning. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. O’Keefe, and the remains were conveyed to the Catholic Cemetery for interment. The following gentlemen acted as pall-bearers: Capt. Thomas Kevill, Messrs. Thomas H. Roberts, A.P. White, Frank O’Connor, M. Duggan, Thomas M. Berry, and two strangers, whose names could not be ascertained.
