Mrs. Eva Haskett Rice

SOUTH NORFOLK- Mrs. Eva B. Haskett, 73, of 1326 Seaboard Ave. died Sunday at 
3:30 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital after a week's illness.
A daughter of Thomas Warren and Narcisus White Haskett, she was a native of 
Orlando, Fla., and had resided here most of her life. She was the widow of 
Arthur Eugene Rice.
She is survived by three daughters, Miss Helen A. Rice of South Norfolk, Mrs. 
Thomas G. Warrick of Norfolk and Mrs. W.F. Johnson of Fairview, Norfolk County; 
two sons, Cecil M. Rice of Sylvania, Ohio, and Frank Lee Rice of Norfolk; a 
sister, Mrs. Ralph H. Hayman of Knob Hill, Norfolk County; two brothers, Leroy 
M. Haskett of South Norfolk and Bert C. Haskett of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren 
and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home Tuesday at 4 p.m. Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.
