The Rev. B.M. Persinger, pastor of Epworth Methodist Church, will officiate, Interment will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Rice was a native and lifelong resident of Virginia and was a marine engineer for 30 years, retiring about 25 years ago. He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Mabel Simon and Mrs. Gladys Beehler, of Baltimore, and two nephews, Claude Dritt, of Atlanta, Ga., and David Dritt, of Baltimore.
