Norfolk - Final rites were conducted Friday for Mrs. Katie Poindexter Richards of 
752 C avenue, in B. F. King Funeral Home by the Rev. H. T. Meyers.  Burial was in 
Calvary Cemetery.  She died in a nursing home April 6.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Richards was a daughter of the late Henry Poindexter 
and the widow of Artie Richards.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Hattie T. Williams of Petersburg and Mrs. Viola 
T. Winbourne of Norfolk.
