Virginian Pilot and the Norfolk Landmark September 24, 1917

William Henry Richardson, aged 76 years, died yesterday morning at 4:45 o'clock 
at his home, 159 Lawrence Street, South Norfolk.  He was a native of North 
Carolina but had lived here 22 years.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. 
Louisiana Richardson and the following children: Mrs. Richard Hodges, Dora, 
Cooley and Lillie Richardson; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Keys, Pasquotank, N.C. 
and Mrs. Emma Ballance, South Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by 
Rev. W.M. Black, pastor of the South Norfolk Baptist Church, and burial will be 
in Magnolia Cemetery.

RICHARDSON - At the family residence, 159 Lawrence Street, South Norfolk, Sunday 
morning, Sept. 23, 1917, at 4:45 o'clock, WILLIAM HENRY RICHARDSON, native of 
North Carolina, aged 76 years, 7 months and 5 days.
The funeral will be conducted at the above residence TUESDAY AFTERNOON, Sept. 
25, at 2 o'clock and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends of the family 
invited.
