Richardson Dies in Hospital Here NORFOLK - Jessie James Richardson, 40, of 1016 Appomattox St., died Friday at 3:10 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness. He was a son of the late Jessie and Mrs. Alperrader Richardson and husband of Mrs. Lillie Richardson. He was a native of Spring Hope, N.C. and had lived in Norfolk 32 years. He was employed as a chauffeur for the Burton Lumber Co. the last four years. Besides his wife, surviving are three sisters, Miss Myrtle Richardson, both of Norfolk and Mrs. Ora Hatton of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, David Richardson of Nash County, N.C. and Freeman Richardson of Norfolk. The body was taken to Pretlow's Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Mount Olive One sister's name was omitted from the obit.
