Virginian Pilot Tuesday December 31, 1901
Mrs. Lydia Richardson, a highly respected white woman, died at 9:30 o'clock last 
night at the home of Mr. Charles Beale, a relative.  The funeral will take place 
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Lydia Richardson was conducted from the family residence on 
Eleventh street yesterday afternoon  at 2 o'clock, Rev. S.S. Robinson, pastor of 
the South Norfolk Baptist Church, officiating.
The remains were interred in Magnolia Cemetery.
