Norfolk - Mrs. Annette Harrison Richter of 713 Ave. A, executive secretary 
of the Southern District of Order of Eastern Star,died Sunday in a hospital.


A native of Norfolk, she was the wife of Alvin T. Richter Sr. and a daughter 
of the late Charles Hayes and Mrs. Emma Williams Harrison.


She was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church, Links Club, Ducks Club, M.R.S. 
Club, Clover Leaf Club, Daughters of Norfolk Lodge, Royal Degree Chamber of 
United Order of Tents.  She also was executive secretary of the Southern 
District of United Order of Tents.


Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Alvin T. Richter Jr., and a 
daughter, Miss Annette Lane Richter, both of Norfolk.


A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in St. John A.M.E. Church 
by the Rev. A. R. Powell.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with B. F. 
King Funeral Home in charge.
