Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, May 25, 1990 
George Davis Ricks, of the 200 block of Tidewater Drive, a retired fork lift
operator, died May 21, 1990, in a hospital.

Mr. Ricks, a native of Emporia, had retired from the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co.
after 25 years. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sisters, Rosa Lee Lucus and Minnie Jackson, both of New
York City, and three brothers, Earnest Ricks of Norfolk, Samuel Ricks of New
York City and John F. Ricks of Henderson, N.C.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the home of Alice R. Calvert, 209 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk.
