Mrs. Mattie Ricks, of 1248 Dusche avenue, died Aug. 30 in a Norfolk hospital 
following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sept. 1 at Hale’s Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Z. P. Jenkins, pastor of Union Congregational Christian Church, 
officiating.

A cousin, Mrs. Emma Collins of Norfolk, survives.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery.
