Miss Delores Ricks, 18, of 2224 Courtney avenue, was given final rites 
Sunday at St. Mark's Community Church. The Rev. Zack Pippens delivered the 
eulogy. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

Miss Ricks was a native of Norfolk and a member of the St. Mark's Church, 
where she sang in the Junior Choir and was a Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by her parents, Paul Ricks and Mrs. Olivia T. Ricks; eight 
brothers, James A. Ricks of Ft. Ward, CA, Paul W. Ricks, Rudolph L. Ricks, 
Thomas G. Ricks, Larry L. Ricks, Aubrey Ricks ad Alfred E. Ricks and Maurice 
L. Ricks, all of Norfolk; and four sisters, Miss Gloria Ricks, Miss Odessa 
Ricks, Miss Sarah Ricks and Mrs. Patricia Jones of Norfolk.
