Funeral services for Mrs. Isabelle Ricks, 75, a former Norfolkian, who had 
made her home in New York City for the past 20 years, were held at the Hale 
Funeral Home Chapel on July 30th. She died in New York on July 25 and services 
were held at the Abyssinia Baptist Church there on July 28. The Rev. H. 
Bowling officiated. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frances Price of New York; 
a son, Arthur Ricks of Connecticut, and one grandchild. Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery.
