Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 3, 1991

Willie "Monk" Ricks, 56, of the 1000 block of Charlotte St., a construction 
laborer, died June 28, 1991, in Norfolk.
Mr. Ricks was born in Norfolk County. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother, Beulah Ricks of Norfolk; a sister, Anise 
Jackson of Portsmouth; and three brothers, Donald T. Ricks of Norfolk and 
James Davis and Stanley Davis, both of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Twilight Funeral Home by 
the Rev. J.B. Sharp. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Viewing will be 
from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may join the 
family at the residence and will assemble there at 10 a.m. for the 
procession.
