Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, October 10, 1995 
Sarah G. Ricks, 97, of the 700 block of Wakefield Ave., died Oct. 9, 1995, in a
local hospital.

Mrs. Ricks, the widow of the late Richard T. Ricks, was a homemaker. She was a
native of Norfolk County and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church,
Norfolk.

Survivors include one son, James R. Warren of Norfolk; one niece, Corrine Morgan
of Norfolk; one nephew, Lindsay Ricks of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and a host
of other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Antioch Baptist Church by the
Rev. Dr. I.J. Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Family and
friends will assemble at the home at noon Friday for the procession to the
church. Hale Funeral Home in charge.
